WHS Terms of Service
Effective Date: January 22, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the Wellness House Seoul (WHS) integrated platform service (the "Service") operated by AAC Co., Ltd. (the "Company"), and set forth the rights, obligations, responsibilities, conditions, and procedures between the Company and Members.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms set forth the conditions and procedures for using the WHS integrated platform and account services provided by the Company, as well as the respective rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and Members.
Article 2 (Definitions)
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions shall apply:
- "WHS" means the Wellness House Seoul integrated platform operated by the Company, including any related websites, mobile applications, and ancillary services.
- "Member" means a person who agrees to these Terms and creates a WHS account in accordance with the procedures established by the Company.
- "Account" or "WHS Integrated Account" means the set of login credentials established by a Member for identification and use of the Service. A Member may access the Individual Services connected by the Company through a single WHS Integrated Account.
- "Individual Service" means a service operated by a medical or non-medical service provider that is connected to and made available through WHS.
- "Individual Service Provider" means a corporation or sole proprietor that directly operates and provides an Individual Service.
Article 3 (Effectiveness and Amendment of the Terms)
- These Terms shall become effective when posted within the Service or otherwise made available to Members.
- The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted under applicable laws and regulations.
- If the Company amends these Terms, it shall notify Members of the effective date and the reasons for the amendment at least seven (7) days prior to the effective date.
- In the case of amendments that are unfavorable to Members, the Company shall provide notice at least thirty (30) days prior to the effective date. If a Member does not expressly indicate refusal by the effective date after such notice, the Member shall be deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.
- Members who do not agree to the amended Terms may discontinue use of the Service and request withdrawal from membership.
Article 4 (Status and Role of the Platform)
- WHS is an integrated platform that connects Members with Individual Service Providers.
- The Company is not a party to any transaction for goods, services, medical acts, medical treatment, procedures, consultations, or prescriptions provided through Individual Services.
- The provision, conclusion, performance, and results of Individual Services, and all related responsibilities, rest solely with the relevant Individual Service Provider.
- The Company does not intervene in transactions or use of services between Members and Individual Service Providers and shall not be responsible for any disputes arising therefrom.
- The terms and conditions governing Individual Services, including the processing of personal data, the performance of medical acts, the provision of explanations and obtaining of consents, and responsibility for the results thereof, shall be governed by the terms, consent forms, and applicable laws of the relevant Individual Service Provider. The Company makes no warranties and assumes no responsibility in this regard.
Article 5 (Membership Registration and Account)
- Membership registration is completed when a user agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy, applies for membership in the manner prescribed by the Company, and the Company approves such application.
- Members may access Individual Services connected by WHS through a single WHS Integrated Account. Depending on the nature of an Individual Service, Members may be required to additionally agree to separate terms of service, privacy policies, or consent forms.
- When a Member accesses a specific Individual Service using a WHS Integrated Account, a separate service agreement is formed between the Member and the relevant Individual Service Provider, and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the parties shall be governed by the terms of that Individual Service.
Article 6 (Account Management and Responsibility)
- Members are responsible for managing their Accounts and shall keep their login credentials secure.
- Members shall not provide or share their Account information with any third party.
- The Company shall not be liable for any damages resulting from account theft, unauthorized use, or information leakage attributable to a Member.
- For security and account protection purposes, the Company may require Members to change passwords or complete additional authentication procedures when necessary.
Article 7 (Provision and Modification of the Service)
- The Company intends to provide the Service on a 24/7 basis.
- The Company may restrict or suspend all or part of the Service in any of the following cases:
- System inspection, maintenance, or updates;
- Technical failures or communication disruptions; or
- Force majeure events such as natural disasters or other events beyond the Company's reasonable control.
- If there are changes to the Service, the Company shall provide prior notice; however, if prior notice is not feasible due to unavoidable circumstances, notice may be provided afterward.
Article 8 (Processing of Personal Information)
- The Company collects and uses only the minimum personal information necessary to provide the Service.
- The Company does not collect, store, or process sensitive information such as medical information, health information, or medical records.
- Any medical information, health information, or medical records entered by Members on Individual Service interfaces or provided directly to Individual Service Providers are collected and processed solely by the relevant Individual Service Provider and are not stored, accessed, or processed within the Company's systems.
- Matters concerning the processing of personal information by the Company shall be governed by the Company's separate Privacy Policy.
Article 9 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
- The Company shall not provide Members' personal information to third parties without the Member's prior consent, except as permitted by applicable laws.
- With separate consent from the Member, the Company may provide limited account identification information to Individual Service Providers solely for service linkage purposes.
- Medical information and other sensitive information are not included in the personal information that the Company provides to third parties.
- If the Company entrusts the processing of personal information to a third party, it shall notify Members of such entrustment, including the entrusted party and the scope of the entrusted work, in accordance with applicable laws.
Article 10 (Obligations of Members)
Members shall not engage in any of the following acts:
- Impersonating another person or misusing another person's account or personal information;
- Interfering with the normal operation of the Service;
- Violating applicable laws or these Terms;
- Infringing the rights of the Company or any third party; or
- Providing false or inaccurate information to the Company.
Article 11 (Management of Posted Content)
- Members are solely responsible for any content they post within the Service.
- The Company may delete or restrict access to content without prior notice if it violates applicable laws or infringes the rights of others.
- If a rights holder claims that their rights have been infringed, the Company may take measures such as deletion, temporary blocking, or notification of the parties, in accordance with applicable laws and the Company's internal procedures.
- Members may raise objections regarding the deletion, blocking, or restoration of their content, and the Company shall review such objections within a reasonable scope.
Article 12 (Intellectual Property Rights)
- Copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the Service and in the content provided through the Service belong to the Company or the respective rights holders.
- Members may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use such content without the prior consent of the Company.
- Unless otherwise agreed, copyrights in content posted by Members remain with the Member; however, the Company may use, store, modify, reproduce, and transmit such content within the scope necessary for operating, promoting, and improving the Service.
Article 13 (Damages)
- If a Member causes damage to the Company by violating these Terms, the Member shall compensate the Company for such damage.
- If a Member's violation results in a claim or dispute by a third party against the Company, the Member shall, at the Member's own responsibility and expense, indemnify and hold the Company harmless from and against such claim or dispute.
Article 14 (Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability)
- The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from:
- circumstances attributable to the Member; or
- circumstances attributable to Individual Service Providers.
- The Company makes no warranties regarding the quality, results, effectiveness, or medical outcomes of Individual Services and shall not be liable for any failure to achieve expected profits, health improvements, or treatment results.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, special, consequential, or incidental damages, including but not limited to loss of anticipated profits or data.
- Even where the Company's liability is recognized, the Company's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the Member to the Company for use of the WHS Service during the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to such liability, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws.
Article 15 (Termination and Withdrawal)
- Members may withdraw from membership at any time by using the account-related features provided within the Service.
- Upon withdrawal from a WHS Integrated Account, access to Individual Services used through WHS may be restricted or terminated, and the termination of any agreements with Individual Service Providers shall be governed by the respective Individual Service terms.
- Upon withdrawal, the Member's personal information shall be processed in accordance with applicable laws and the Privacy Policy. Certain information may be retained for legally required periods.
- If a Member violates these Terms, the Company may, upon prior notice or, in urgent circumstances, without prior notice, restrict the Member's use of the Service or terminate the service agreement.
Article 16 (Priority of Terms and Relationship with Individual Service Terms)
- These Terms govern general matters concerning the use of the WHS integrated platform and account services.
- With respect to the use of Individual Services, the terms and conditions of the relevant Individual Service Provider shall take precedence.
- Matters not specified in the terms and conditions of an Individual Service may be supplemented by these Terms.
- In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the terms and conditions of an Individual Service, the terms and conditions of the Individual Service shall prevail with respect to that Individual Service.
Article 17 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- Any disputes arising between the Company and Members in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's principal place of business, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws.
Addendum
These Terms shall take effect as of January 22, 2026.
